Parque Nacional Monte León

Argentina's first coastal marine national park, created in 2004. It protects 62,169 hectares of Patagonian coast with cliffs, coves, islets and beaches. It is home to the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in continental Patagonia (60,000 pairs), cormorants, sea lions and condor nests.
