Los Alerces (Parque), Chubut
The most remote refuge in Parque Nacional Los Alerces, on the south shore of Lago Krügger. Only accessible by boat from Villa Futalaufquen or by several days of trekking through old-growth alerce forest. Essential destination for those doing the Travesía del Parque. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
