Los Alerces (Parque), Chubut
Refuge in Los Maitenes, gateway to the Alerzal Milenario of Los Alerces National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Accessible by boat from Villa Futalaufquen (45 min) or hiking along the east shore of Lago Futalaufquen (3-4 hours). Starting point for the trail to alerce trees up to 2,600 years old.
